Sustain_EU project students attended the panel titled “Women Leaders in Management Roles in Türkiye’s Century” held at Sakarya University Esentepe Campus. The panel, organized in cooperation with Sakarya University Social Contribution and Sustainability Coordination, Women's Studies Application and Research Center, and Career Development Coordination, was held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 14:00 at the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim Hall. Afyonkarahisar Governor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı and Ministry of Family and Social Services Ministerial Advisor Elif Nur Yaman Saçal were the speakers at the event. The panel was moderated by Sakarya University Faculty of Business Administration Dean Prof. Dr. Sima Nart. The panel began with the opening speech of Sakarya University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamza AL after the reading of the National Anthem. Prof. Dr. Hamza AL emphasized the importance of the event and underlined the role of women leaders in management and their contributions to the vision of the Türkiye’s Century. The panel, where the role of women leaders in management was evaluated, addressed the contributions of women to management mechanisms in the vision of the Turkish Century, the difficulties encountered and success stories. Students asked questions inspired by the experiences of women leaders. The event was attended especially by the project students of the Faculty of Education. Students had the opportunity to listen to the encouraging stories of women leaders and gain important information about their career journeys.
