Higher education learners from Sakarya University, who participated in the activities within the scope of the Sustain_EU Jean Monnet Project, carried out a simulation study under the theme of “Sustainable School”. Focusing on environmentally friendly practices, energy saving, recycling systems, sustainable infrastructures and sustainable social practices during the project process, the students both developed creative solutions within the scope of the Sustainable School Simulation and increased their awareness in this area by conducting group studies and discussions on the subject. The group members, who visualized the simulations they developed using artificial intelligence and digital tools and explained them in detail in writing, presented their work to their peers in groups, discussed it and received feedback. During the presentations, the importance of sustainability in education was highlighted once again, and the role of sustainable schools in achieving sustainability goals was also emphasized again.
